The Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is a state agency that helps individuals with disabilities prepare for, secure, retain, and advance in employment. DVR provides services such as job training, counseling, work incentives, and job placement assistance.

Milwaukee Enrollment Services (MilES) assists low-income individuals and families with applying for FoodShare, Medicaid, and BadgerCare Plus. It provides guidance on eligibility and benefits access.

The Milwaukee County Disability Resource Center provides information and assistance to adults with disabilities (ages 18-59) in finding resources for housing, healthcare, transportation, and independent living support.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) provides financial assistance through programs such as Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). It also offers Medicare enrollment and benefits counseling.

UMOS is a non-profit organization providing workforce development, education, and social services to underserved populations, including migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Services include job training, housing assistance, and early childhood education.

The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) provides free, expert, and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment. JAN helps people with disabilities enhance employability while assisting employers in leveraging their talents.
